A Jane's Walk tour guided by the Regent Park Community.
Walks will commence at 30-minute intervals, beginning at 11am. The last walk will depart at 12:30pm.
Join us for A Second Look at Regent Park as the community continues to undergo some big changes, with Phase 1 of the Revitalization now complete and Phase 2 well underway. Hear personal stories from the people who live, work, and contribute to this vibrant neighbourhood while exploring the old, the new, and everything in between. With a nod to the mosaic of community perspectives, participants will experience the neighbourhood from two perspectives at each stop.
This walk is a collaborative effort of the Regent Park community including residents of Regent Park, Centre of Social Innovation in Regent Park, Christian Resource Centre, Daniels Centre of Learning, Regent Park Arts & Cultural Centre, Regent Park Focus Youth Media Arts, Regent Park Neighbourhood Initiative, The Daniels Corporation, and Toronto Community Housing.
