Parkdale Arts & Cultural Centre

The Parkdale Arts and Cultural Centre was originally built as a police station in 1931 and now provides office spaces for community based non-profits, an artist-run gallery, and nine artist live/work studios. The opening of the Parkdale Arts & Cultural Centre at 1313 Queen St. W. marked Artscape's first foray into mixed-use development in a project that combines low-cost artist live/work studios with business associations and social service organizations including Gallery 1313, Kababayan Community Centre, Parkdale Village Business Improvement Area, and the Parkdale Arts & Cultural Centre Community Board.
